Overview of Apni Chhat Apna Ghar Program
Apni Chhat Apna Ghar Program is one of the pioneering programs undertaken by the Punjab Government under the Chief Minister of Punjab. Under this scheme, 100,000 apartments and houses will be allocated to the deserving families across Punjab.

The program is scheduled to be completed in 4.5 years. The project is being executed under three execution models.
Punjab Housing & Town Planning Agency (PHATA) is executing the project, while the Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering Department (HUD&PHED) will be managing all administrative tasks.

Eligibility for Apni Chhat Apna Ghar Program

Family Status requirement:
The applicant should be a head of his/her own Beta Family (Nucleus family) as per NADRA.
Requirement of Residence in Punjab:
The applicant must be a permanent resident of the province of Punjab, and their residential status should be correct as per CNIC.
Requirement of Land Ownership:
The applicant should own some land on which he/she wants to construct a house:
The limits of the ownership of land are as follows:
* Urban Areas: 5 Marla and below
* Rural Areas: Up to 10 Marla
The Ownership of the house should be up to the date of the application for online application.
Criminal background clean
The candidate should not be a convict of anything:
* Anti-state
* Anti-social
* Heinous criminal activity
So, Legal background checking of a candidate is mandatory.
No loan default history
The candidate should not be a loan defaulter:
* Any bank
* Any financial institution
* Any lending authority
So, the financial credibility of the candidate is mandatory.
Must be NSER Registered
The candidate must be registered in the National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER).
And the candidate’s household must have a PMT score below 60.
