The Pakistan Army requires the services of educated MBBS doctors as Civilian Medical Practitioners (CMPs) in its Army Medical Corps. It is a contract-based job for Doctors who wish to deliver health facility services at Pakistan Military Hospitals to military personnel and their relatives. Position Title: Civilian Medical Practitioner (CMP)

Doctors with an MBBS degree and at least 01-year of house job experience are also eligible for induction in the Army Medical Corps. Doctors now have the opportunity to serve in BPS-17 (grade scale for government jobs) which is a decent salary package in Pakistan and provides the opportunity for doctors to work in a highly regarded medical field. The job role of a Civilian Medical Practitioner includes working as a general practitioner in any of the army hospitals, providing vital healthcare to army personnel and their families.
Criteria to Qualify and Be Eligible
CMP role candidates are required to meet the following base requirements.
- Education: Relevant MBBS degree, and house job completion—minimum one year.
- Age: Candidates should not be more than 50 years of age on the last date for receiving applications as mentioned in the advertisement.
- Only Pakistani citizens are eligible to apply, and no dual nationality holders habari.
Necessary documents for application
The application requires submission of:
Curriculum Vitae (CV) (with up-to-date photo and full address.)
- Attested copy of CNIC: Provide an attested photocopy of your Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
- Domicile Attested Certificate: A certificate that proves the domicile of a person from Pakistan.
- Attested MBBS Degree and Transcript: Provide an attested copy of your MBBS degree, a transcript for five years, and any other qualifications.
- PM&DC or PMC Registration: An attested photocopy of the valid registration from Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC) Or Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC).
- House Job & Experience Certificate: An attested document that confirms your work experience as a house job along with other relevant experiences.
- Application Processing Fee: A pay order or banker cheque for of Rs. 1500 (payable to Medical Directorate GHQ Rawalpindi).

- READY YOUR APP AND DOCS: Complete the application form carefully according to instructions and have all supporting documents properly attested.
- Processing Fee: Before you apply, attach the pay order or banker’s cheque of Rs. 1500 with your application form.
- Mail Your Application Package via Pakistan Post UMS: Make sure to send your full set of applications through Pakistan Post UMS.
Note: Applications that are incomplete or submitted after deadlines will not be accepted. Check all required documents are present and duly attested, or be disqualified.

- Deadline for applications: Applications must arrive before November 25th, 2024. No applications received after this date will be considered.
- The CMP contract will be valid until 31 March 2026. Under no situation, will extensions be approved.
