The Pakistan Army requires the services of educated MBBS doctors as Civilian Medical Practitioners (CMPs) in its Army Medical Corps. It is a contract-based job for Doctors who wish to deliver health facility services at Pakistan Military Hospitals to military personnel and their relatives. Doctors with an MBBS degree and at least 01-year of house job experience are also eligible for induction in the Army Medical Corps. Doctors now have the opportunity to serve in BPS-17 (grade scale for government jobs) which is a decent salary package in Pakistan and provides the opportunity for doctors to work in a highly regarded medical field. The job role of a Civilian Medical Practitioner includes working as a general practitioner in any of the army hospitals, providing vital healthcare to army personnel and their families.
