Overview
As a Welfare Policy, CM Punjab Collective Marriages Program 2026 has been launched to assist the deserving families by organizing their socio-religious obligation of noble marriage in a dignified manner.
In Islam, marriage is regarded as a sacred social contract and the infallible basis of enjoying a healthy family life. But, with the economy as it is and families struggling financially, many poor parents are no longer able to find marriages for their children.
It is a program for families that will also contribute positively to maintaining hope, social stability, and ownership of government among society.
Key Benefits
Cash Gift for Bride by CM
Through this scheme, Rs. 200,000 salami to each selected bride through an ATM card will be provided.
Wedding Event
The Punjab Government will arrange mass weddings all over the province.
Year 2025 – 26: A total of 5000 poor girls will be married collectively in Punjab.
2024 – 25: Organized mass marriages of 3000 underprivileged girls throughout Punjab.
Eligibility Criteria
Here are the conditions under which applicants must apply:
Girls who are destitute / orphaned / Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) / daughters of a PWD.
Age between 18 and 40 years
Who is the applicant — father, mother, guardian of the bride, or you
Must have a Punjab domicile
Selection Process
In case the number of applications received is more than the available quota, selection will be through e-balloting.
Required Affidavit
Applicants must submit an affidavit regarding:
Being unmarried
Willingness to participate in the collective wedding ceremony
