Position Overview: Relationship Manager – Corporate Remittance Unit
Location: Meezan Bank Head Office, Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan
Department: Corporate Remittance Unit – Transaction & Employee Banking Department
Eligibility Criteria
For Education:
This position requires at minimum a Bachelors Degree from a university which is recognized by the HEC. If you are certified in banking or finance or have a higher degree, it will help you in meeting the qualifications for this position.
For Experience:
A minimum experience of 2 years is required in this specific role. The candidate should possess a good understanding of the State Bank of Pakistan and its regulations and instructions including the SBP Foreign Exchange Manual. Additional knowledge of Investment Abroad, Royalty, and Loan Registration is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
Relationship Management:
- Act as a relationship manager by Creating, Managing and nurturing long term relationships with customers while assuring their satisfaction.
- Serve as their clients’ banker by providing them solutions they require and meeting their specific banking requirements.
Product Knowledge and Compliance:
- A full understanding and awareness of “F.E. Manual” and Transaction Employee Banking products to enable qualitative and timely services to clients.
- Obtain approvals and prepare cases while strictly observing the provisions of “SBP FE Manual”.
Transaction Management:
- Been able to routinely manage to update the customer info on the system and at hand.
- Quickly address client’s problems that relate to the transaction and also problems where consultations are needed.
- Ensure the documents are processed to the relevant departments for timely performance as per the guidelines of the “FE Manual.”
Operational Excellence:
- Focus on the details and procedural requirements for accuracy and deadlines for submissions of reports to the “State Bank of Pakistan (SBP)”.
- Bring and manage the business MIS (Management Information System) into practice on a daily basis at the branch level.
- Practice and ensure Meezan Bank’s Operations Manual is always adhered to guarantee the standard of the service quality.
Collaboration:
- Foster collaborations with other departments in order to achieve goals and improve customer satisfaction.
- Always look out for improvement possibilities and propose creative methods which would improve the workflow.
Skills Required
This position requires the candidate to possess the following skills and attributes.
Technical Proficiency:
- Functional working knowledge of “MS Office” applications including “Excel”, “Word,” and “PowerPoint” for data reporting and creation.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Good helpful and willing to communicate both written and verbal with regard to clients and internal team interactions.
- Ability to extend courtesy and courtesy to the Customers and with fellow staff members.
Adaptability and Learning Attitude:
- A highly energetic individual who is willing to learn and is open to challenging circumstances.
- Ability to understand and apply complex banking regulations and norms.
Multitasking and Collaboration:
- Strong multi-tasking abilities in a busy working atmosphere without compromising on accuracy.
- Strong team work abilities in order to work effectively in a team.
Problem-Solving Skills:
- Self motivated in pursuit of identifying system weakness and upkeep issues regarding customer transaction and compliance.
