Vacancies: Vacancy Announcement for Recruitment – GIS-Based Protection and Digital Communication Project in Punjab

The Department of Forestry, Wildlife & Fisheries, Punjab, invites applications from qualified candidates with regard to multiple exciting job opportunities under the GIS-Based Protection Regime and Establishment of Digital Communication Cell. This shall be an initiative for continuous improvement in digital communication and GIS-based protection system mechanisms toward better management of forestry, wildlife, and fisheries in the region. Vacancies and Requirements

1. Computer Operator, PPS-5
   Positions Available: 11
   Eligibility:
   Second Class Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant area.
   At least four months of certified computer training.
   The typing speed is 40 words per minute.
   Age Limit: 22-28 years
   Monthly Remuneration: PKR 70,000

2. GIS Assistant (PPS-5)
   Positions Available: 3
   Eligibility:
   Second Class Bachelor’s degree in Space Sciences, Geography, and Geoinformatics or its equivalent related field.
   Specialised knowledge on systems in the field of GIS, RS, and geoinformatics.

3. Drone Operator – PPS – 5

   Experience of a minimum one year in flying drones for aerial photography and data acquisition.
