Available Job Positions at ICCBS
ICCBS is currently inviting applications for the following roles:
(A) Associate Professor (One Position)
Salary Package: Basic Pay:Rs. 263,250 – Rs. 493,590(TTS Statutes of ICCBS)
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must hold a Ph. D in Biological Sciences from an HEC-recognized university or institute of Pakistan. Apart from the educational requirement, the applicants should possess:
- At least 8 years of post-Ph. D. in the relevant field of Stem Cell Research Experience with teaching and research in the subject of specialization.
- At least 10 original research publications in peer-reviewed impact factor journals. (At least 5 papers have to be published in the last 5 years).
This is a position for an individual who has a strong, established record of scholarly activity and is seeking to assume a leadership role in teaching and research in the department.
(B) Assistant Professor (One Position)
Salary: Rs. 175,000–356,475 (TTS Statutes of ICCBS)
Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate must have a Ph. res) in Virology, Molecular Medicine, or Organic Chemistry from a university/institution recognized by HEC. Experience in the following is also desired:
- Minimum of 1 year postdoctoral research or teaching experience in the area of Molecular Virology.
- A minimum of 4 research publications in internationally abstracted impact factor journals in the relevant discipline.

Transition to Research Roles

(C) Research Officer (Two Positions, Contractual)
Salary: Rs. 100,000–120,000
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants are required to possess a Ph.D. degree in Biological Sciences from an HEC-recognized university. In addition, they are required to have expertise in the area of Stem Cell Research.
These positions would be suitable for researchers who wish to immerse themselves in experimental work and advance the frontiers of stem cell research.
(D) Research Officer (One Position, Contractual)
Salary: Rs. 100,000–120,000
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates are required to possess a Ph.D. degree in Animal or Biological Sciences from an HEC-approved university. In addition, they should have some experience in handling research animals or working with disease models in research.
This role provides a unique and stimulating opportunity to engage in animal model-based biomedical projects aimed at investigating various aspects of disease processes, drug development, or therapeutic interventions and responses.
(E) Research Officer (One Position, Contractual)
Salary: Rs. 100,000–120,000
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Plant Biotechnology from an HEC recognized institution. In addition to this, applicants must show prior research experience in Plant Biotechnology and its associated applied fields.
This position would suit professionals with a keen interest in plant sciences, genetic engineering, and agricultural biotechnology.
