Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Finance Department is inviting job applications from qualified candidates for various important positions available in the Department. These positions are permanent and available for a period of one year, likely to be extended. The positions available include various units such as the Internal Support Unit (ISU), Corporate Governance Unit (CGU), Debt Management Unit (DMU), and Risk Management Unit (RMU) among others.

Management, governance, or risk assessment relevant experience professionals who have the knowledge, skills, and ambition to leave a significant footprint in any of these three areas of endeavor are encouraged to apply for the positions. Available Positions

CGU Team Lead (MP-I)

  • Open Positions: 1
  • Requirements:
  1. A minimum of 7 years experience in the area of public financial management or accounting/finance at the national or international level.
  2. Understanding of corporate governance or any policy or strategy and having convincingly exercised such of them.
  3. Capacity to properly coordinate teams’ work to achieve results.
  4. At least 16 years of education that is economics and finance, accounting, or commerce from a recognized institution.
  5. Candidates holding at least ACA-UK, ACCA-UK or ICAP will be preferred.

CGU Performance & Monitoring Specialist “MP-II”

  • Open Positions: 1
  • Requirements:
  1. At least five years of relevant working experience in public financial management, policy analysis, or other relevant fields.
  2. Show evidence of leadership capability and experience in team management.
  3. Should possess at least 16 education in Professional Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
  4. A Certification such as ACA-UK, ACCA-UK, OR ICAP will be an added advantage.

ISU Team Lead “MP-I”

  • Open Positions: 2
  • Requirements:
  1. Must have not less than seven years of experience in managing finance or accounting functions.
  2. Must be capable of managing teams and a range of projects including large and multifaceted ones.
  3. At least post-16 years of education in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or any other related course.

ISU Associate “MP-III”

  • Open Positions: 4
  • Requirements:
  1. Strong academic and professional record with proven accomplishments.
  2. Education should be at least 16 years from institutions of good repute.
  3. Public, private, or development sector employment historyis  also considered as an asset.

ISU Analyst “MP-III”

  • Open Positions: 8
  • Requirements:
  1. Acquired considerable knowledge and skills in relevant area supported by academic records.
  2. Education should be at least 16 years in which case employment is geared towards graduates of reputable institutions distinctly universities.
  3. Fresh applicants in the academic year are most welcome to apply with an emphasis on academic performance in evaluations.

DMU Senior Financial Analyst – Debt Management (MP-II)

  • Open Positions: 1
  • Requirements:
  1. Knowledge and expertise in public debt management strategy and fiscal risk management with more than 8 years of practice in the financial management profession.
  2. Substantial knowledge of MTPD Management Detail Notes on Duration of Debt Management in Bangla.
  3. A minimum qualification of 16 years in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or other areas pertaining to the field.
  4. Such professionals with certifications like ACA UK, ACCA UK, CFA, or PMP will be an added advantage.

DMU Financial Analyst (MP-III)

  • Open Positions: 1
  • Requirements:
  1. At least 5 years of relevant experience in debt management financial analysis and fiscal risk assessment.
  2. 16 years of education in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
  3. Persons with professional qualifications like CFA, PMP, or ACA UK will be given preference.

RMU Senior Financial Analyst – Risk Management (MP-II)

  • Open Positions: 1
  • Requirements:
  1. Not less than 8 years of experience in the evaluation of public-private partnership PPP procurement, fiscal risk management, or other related fields.
  2. A relevant first degree with a solid background in Economics, Finance, and/or any other related discipline with not less than sixteen years of education.
  3. Such professionals who went through CPA, CFA, ACA UK, and PMP professional qualifications are an advantage.

Recruitment Process The hiring process has three main steps:

  1. Application Screening: The process of selection has three steps; during this stage candidates will be analyzed in detail. CV and cover letter will determine six candidates for the next stage.
  2. A written test will be held for the applicants who get shortlisted to test their technical skills.
  3. This phase Shall incorporate Panel interviews and Role-related Problem Solving (RPS).

Kindly be informed that the scores obtained in each phase will not be carried over to the next phase.
